1. A total of one hundred and thirty contestants (130) will compete at the Preliminary Round of the competition, on Saturday 29 January @ Samar Entertainment Centre in Penal.
2. TSTT will provide each contestant with a three digit code that registers as a vote for that contestant when sent to 7622.
3. Text voting will commence at 7pm on Saturday 29 January, and will end at 12 midnight on Sunday 30 January. Patrons are invited to cast any number of votes for the contestant of their choice between the designated times.
4. A total of 40 contestants will progress to the Semi-Final stage of the competition. The judges will select numbers 1 – 37, while the positions 38, 39 and 40 will progress based on the highest number of text votes received during the designated times.
5. TSTT will award a Bmobile handset to the person sending the highest number of votes between Saturday 29 January and Sunday 30 January.
6. TSTT will award $2500 to the largest group of persons wearing orange clothing at the Preliminary Round of the competition courtesy Blink Broadband.
7. Patrons can visit www.chutneysocamonarch.com to view artistes bios and profiles, in an effort to get more information on the contestants that they will be voting for between Saturday 29 January and Sunday 30 January.
